POIGNANT tributes have been left outside the school where a teacher, stabbed to death in her own home, taught.
Julie Parkin, 39, was found at Kirkwall Close in the Castletown area of Sunderland on Tuesday morning.
She had suffered fatal knife wounds during an attack.
Flowers and messages were left in tribute on the gates of West Boldon Primary School in South Tyneside.
Her family said: “Julie was the best person anyone could ever meet.
“She was the perfect child. She was beautiful inside and out and she brought something special to everyone she met.”
It is understood Ms Parkin had a 17-year-old son and a daughter, 15.
