A MAN has suffered life-threatening injuries after falling two storeys.
The Great North Air Ambulance was called to the scene in Stanley, County Durham, along with the North East Ambulance service shortly after 9am on Friday.
"On arrival on scene the aircrew doctor and paramedic team assessed and treated a male casualty for multiple injuries sustained in the fall," a spokesman for the GNAAS said. "On route to hospital in the helicopter the casualty was given a blood transfusion.
"He arrived at hospital in a stable but critical condition."
