TWO drivers injured in a car crash in Stanley yesterday (Monday, April 20) were treated in hospital and kept in overnight for observation.
The men were both hurt during a collision on the A693, near the Ox Inn, at 7.30am, which saw the road closed for three hours.
A 30-year-old, from Lanchester, driving a grey Mazda was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle and treated for a head injury.
He is expected to be discharged later today.
The 54-year-old, from Bishop Auckland, who was driving a silver Ford Focus, was treated at the University Hospital of North Durham and was discharged this morning.
