TWO accidents on the same stretch of the A19 near Seaham caused delays for rush hour motorists on Wednesday morning.
One lane of the A19 northbound was blocked after an accident involving several vehicles.
The incident happened near the B1285 and congestion is being reported on the A19 to Stockton Road.
On the southbound carriageway one lane was blocked in the same area at A182 Hall Walks / B1283 Hall Walks.
All lanes on both carriageways have since been reopened.
