A SPECIALLY-created model is to be raffled to raise money for charity.
The Scania cab and fridge trailer, decked out in Great North Air Ambulance livery, has been created by a group of friends including model-making enthusiast Stan Walton, from Peterlee.
The unique vehicle will be the star prize in a raffle being held at the Toy And Train Collectors fair taking place in Bowburn, near Durham on Sunday, December 18.
Fair organisers are long-term supporters of the air ambulance charity and last year's raffle featuring a die-cast low-loader along with a box van raised £340 for the cause.
Hundreds of enthusiasts are expected at the toy and train collectors fair, which takes place at Bowburn Community Centre from 10am to 2.30pm.
It will feature around 50 traders and an exhibition of Meccano models.
Admission is £1.60 for adults, £1.40 for concessions and £4.60 for a family ticket
