POTENTIAL recruits for a new cinema development at a North-East retail park can find out more about the jobs on offer at an open day, next month.

Leading UK cinema company Cineworld has up to 35 posts to fill at its soon-to-open multi-screen complex, which is part of a £45 million expansion of Dalton Park, in Murton, County Durham.

Curtain up is scheduled for September and the chain is staging a recruiting day to fill part and full-time team member positions, with the potential for “stand-out” candidates to progress to supervisor level.

Prospective recruits can find out more about the available jobs, ask questions and make direct applications.

Apart from what it describes as seven “state-of-the-art” screens, showing the latest Hollywood releases, the complex will feature an ice cream counter, operated by Baskin Robbins.

Cineworld’s Dalton Park general manager Nick Bashford said he was excited to be part of the new project and is keen to speak to prospective employees about the available posts.

The recruitment day takes place at The Glebe Centre, near Dalton Park, in Durham Place, Murton, SR7 9BX, on Saturday July 2, from 10am to 4pm.

Anyone unable to attend on the day can apply online, at cineworld.co.uk/careers, from Friday July 1 to Friday July 15.
