STAFF at East Durham Homes have raised over £250 in an Easter charity day held on Thursday to support the Alzheimer’s Society.
There was a raffle, tombola and a bake sale.
Staff were also able to come to work in casual dress for a donation.
East Durham Homes managing director Michael Doyle said: “I am really impressed with the effort staff have made for the charity day and would like to thank them all for helping to make the day a success.
“We have raised over £1,000 so far for this year’s charity and the money from the Easter day will add to this already impressive total.
“I am sure we will do our best to raise even more to support this worthwhile cause.”
