Motorist with 'sorry officer I thought you wanted a race' sticker on car arrested after police chase
A MOTORIST with a sticker saying 'sorry officer I thought you wanted a race' has been arrested - after a police chase.
The driver was pursued by Durham road policing officers around Murton and Rainton, County Durham, last night.
Police tweeted: "Vehicle pursued around Murton and Rainton. Vehicle crashed, driver arrested. He had this sticker on the rear. #Idiot."
A spokesman added on the unit's Facebook page: "No we don't want a race idiot but if you try and get away we will catch you."
