TENANTS are being urged to have their say about the quality of the homes they live in.

Customers of Dale and Valley Homes, Durham City Homes and East Durham Homes in County Durham have until 5pm on Monday, August 17 to take part in the Annual Survey of Tenants and Residents (STAR) by post or online at opinionresearch.co.uk/STAR2015.

Local landlords, as part of the County Durham Housing Group, sent out questionnaires to 11,000 randomly selected customers asking their views on the quality of their home, the standard of their estate and how they choose to receive day-to-day housing services.

Joe Gash, performance and quality manager at East Durham Homes, said it was a good opportunity for residents to help shape their communities, adding: “Don’t miss this opportunity to have your say on the day-to-day services that affect your home and estate.”

Brian Abbott, performance manager at Dale and Valley Homes, said: “We really do want to hear from as many people as possible to give us a better picture of where we’re doing well, and areas where we need to improve.”

Customers who take part will be entered into a free prize draw and could win £200 of shopping vouchers.

The postal address to send completed questionnaires to is Opinion Research Services, Free post, SS1018, PO Box 530, Swansea, SA1 1ZL.

Any queries about the survey, including requests for large print or other formats, should go to Catherine Nock at Opinion Research Services Ltd on 01792-535335 or performance@cdhg.co.uk
