A VAN has been left badly damaged after a suspected arson attack.
The incident happened at about 9.15pm on Friday, November 18 on Park Road in Sherburn Village.
The silver Vauxhall Vivaro was parked on the driveway of a property.
Police would like to speak to two men wearing hooded tops seen running in the direction of a mini roundabout at the end of the street.
Detective Constable Sarah Douglas said: “This was a shocking and frightening incident for the owner of the vehicle. We suspect that the van may have been targeted specifically and would like to reassure local people that we believe this to be an isolated incident.”
