AN event has been organised for families of people living with an incurable disease.
The Motor Neurone Disease Association has organised the information day to take place in Durham this weekend.
The drop-in event will take place at the Honest Lawyer Hotel, just off the A167 at Croxdale, on Saturday, May 21 from 11.30am to 2.30pm.
The event will allow people find out more about motor neurone disease and the work of the Association and is aimed at people living with the disease, their carers, family and friends.
Association staff team will be offering information on motor neurone disease services and support and information on opportunities to help thorough volunteering, campaigning and fundraising.
Organisers hope to set up a new local Durham Group to hold local meetings and offer support.
