A CATHEDRAL has announced a summer programme of family events.
Durham Cathedral is hosting events throughout the school summer holidays.
A free Gruesome Grotesque Hunt for children aged four to 11 is available every Friday from July 25 to August 29.
Fantastic Faces, involving a face hunt and mask making, is planned for July 29, August 6, 21 and 27. The cost is £2.50 per child.

A Woodlands and Riverbanks Celebration Day will be held on Saturday, August 9, from 11am to 4pm. With the chance to meet reptiles and mammals from Sam’s Safaris.
Families can also add bricks to the every-growing Lego model of Durham Cathedral, for £1 per brick.
