Baited: A badger
THREE men are being sought by police after they were disturbed while badger baiting.
They were digging for badgers on land close to Consett golf club on Sunday (February 15) afternoon, Durham police said. They also had a black dog with them.
The men, who are believed to be from outside the area, made off when challenged and were seen driving a green Subaru.
Anyone with information should contact police on the non-emergency 101 telephone number.
