TWO men and a woman have been arrested today (Friday, July 11) on suspicion of drug offences.
A 20-year-old man was arrested in the Knitsley Mill area of Consett on suspicion of possession of class A drugs following a stop check of a vehicle.
A quantity of white powder, scales and drug paraphernalia were seized from a house in Ford Street, Delves Lane, Consett.
A 27-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
A 27-year-old woman was arrested at a property in The Grove, Consett, on suspicion of possession of class B drugs and money laundering.
A small quantity of a class B drug and a quantity of cash were seized from the property.
All three are in custody at Durham City police station.
