CCTV picture issued after burglary
POLICE investigating a pub burglary have issued a CCTV picture of a man they want to speak to.
The burglary happened at The Shoes pub, Plawsworth Road, Sacriston, near Chester-le-Street, on Saturday, June 7, between 4.10 and 4.50am.
The burglar entered the pub and searched the bar and stole what police have described as a significant amount of cash.
They are looking for a man aged 25 to 30.
Anyone with information about the offence, or who recognises the man in the picture, is asked to call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
The crime number is WG1400972.
