STARS of TV’s Dancing on Ice will perform in the North-East on Saturday night.
Husband and wife team Andrei Lipanov and Susie Lipanova will skate at Durham City’s temporary ice rink.
They will be joined by students of the rink’s Learn to Skate and Learn to Play courses.
A family ice disco will be held afterwards.
The Gala Night will run from 6pm to 8pm. Tickets are £10 each. To book, call 07940-188-586.
Mrs Lipanova was born in South Shields and has represented Great Britain at international events.
The stars of the hit ITV show visited the rink on Wednesday to meet skaters and event organisers.
The facility is expected to remain open until Sunday, April 18.
Danish businessman Jan Eskildsen says its success over the winter has proved the business case for his planned £10m ice arena.
