A FANCY dress party based around the 1940s is being held to raise money for a north Durham church hall.
The spirit of the Second World War is being recreated at St Mary’s Church in Blackhill, near Consett.
It is being held on April 10 from 2.30-4pm and 7.30pm-11pm.
There will be a ration-based raffle and refreshments available with music from Gypsy Moon Jazz.
Tickets cost £3.50 for the matinee party and £6 for the evening do.
