AN expert stylist is giving free fashion consultations this weekend.
The Fashion InDurham event takes place on Friday and Saturday, when shoppers in the city will be offered deals, discounts and expert advice.
Stylist Belinda Alexander will on hand to give people fashion consultations
Free appointments, which last for 30 minutes, are available between 10am and 4pm each day at St Nicholas’ Church, in Market Place.
Beauty experts from Boots will be available to give personalised make-up consultations, while stylists from Belle Ame will be giving tips on summer hair styling.
Adam Deathe, engagement manager at Durham BID, which organises the event, said: “Whether you’re jetting off somewhere exotic or are planning a staycation in the sun right here in Durham, we’re really pleased to be able to bring Fashion InDurham back to the city, with the help of the brilliant Belinda Alexander, to showcase to visitors the fantastic retail offering we have here in the city, while helping people to sort their wardrobe woes so they look and feel fabulous.”
Ms Alexander said: “I’m looking forward to sharing my knowledge of styling and introducing our visitors to some of the fantastic different retailers here in Durham during the course of the event.”
