POLICE are trying to trace the owner of stolen SatNav.
The TomTom system was seized from a man in Durham on June 23 but officers have not been able to trace the owner as no-one has reported the theft.
Detective constable Alistair Rogowski, from Durham City CID, said: “There are a number of addresses local to Durham in the memory, along with others from around the country.
“So far it has proved difficult to determine who it belongs to, but it is possible it was owned by a student”.
If anyone believes they are the owner of the stolen system, they are asked to ring DC Rogowski at Durham City Police Station on 101, quoting crime number CRI00132914.
