A GROUP of car owners have collected hundreds of presents to give to children this Christmas.
Four members of the Vectra Insignia Owners North East organised the event in Durham city this weekend.
Paul Wanless, Steven McBride, Lee Johnson and Jack Winlow, all from Durham, arranged the event at Dragonville Retail Park to collect presents for the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas appeal.
Around 20 people attended, collecting around 500 presents.
Amy Wanless said: “This is the first time they had done something like this but people came from all over and turned up with decorated cars. It’s gone really well so they’re hoping to do it again.”
The B&M store on the retail park sponsored the event and and will pass the donated presents to the appeal.
