A CAT which was rescued after being stuck inside a wall for three days has found a new home.
The kitten, which was just 12 weeks old when it was rescued by firefighters and RSPCA officer Rowena Proctor, has found a new home in Durham with Gaynor Capp and eight-year-old Thomas.
Thomas has now renamed Bea as Lexi and the playful kitten is making itself at home.
ACO Proctor said: “She was just so gorgeous and playful. I completely fell in love with her. When it was time to say goodbye the staff had to practically prise her out of my hands.
“But I’m really glad she’s found such a lovely home with Gaynor and Thomas now. They are a perfect match.”
Lexi had a dramatic start to life after climbing into the insulation cavity in the wall of a house in Witton Gilbert.
Following the two and a half hour rescue, the RSPCA was unable to trace her owner so had to find her a new home.
