AN organisation supporting veterans in the region has handed over money raised for ABF The Soldier’s Charity.
Finchale, based in Newton Hall, near Durham has been working with The Soldiers’ Charity for the last two years to provide tailored support to veterans from the North-East to help them to move into employment.
Finchale raised £355 by hosting a “Big Curry” event, taking part in chilli cookie roulette and filming their own version of the mannequin challenge.
The Soldier’s Charity regional director Lieutenant Colonel Barnbrook said: “The charity benefits greatly from working partnerships with like-minded organisations across the North East region and all proceeds will go directly to support soldiers, veterans and their families who are in need of our assistance.”
