A MAN considered among the world’s great explorers embarks on a charity fundraising mission to the North-East next month.
Sir Ranulph Fiennes, the only man alive ever to have circumnavigated the Earth along its polar axis, will be raising money for the international charity WaterAid, at the exclusive event at the Ramside Hall Hotel, in Carrville, near Durham.
He will recount some of his marathon challenges and adventures on his many expeditions during the evening.
The event, on Friday February 10, is jointly staged in association with Northumbrian Water, ESH Construction and MJK Sportsevents.
Tables of ten are available from £1,000, including a three-course meal and entertainment.
Further information is available via wateraid@nwl.co.uk, including details of individual ticket sales.
