HELP WANTED: Alington House Community Centre, in North Bailey, Durham City, is looking for more volunteers. Help is particularly needed with painting and decorating, gardening and serving in the centre’s coffee bar. BEE KEEPING: A talk on bee keeping will take place at Bowburn Community Centre on Wednesday, October 9 at 7.30pm. The event, organised by Durham Organic Gardeners Association, will feature a demonstration by Bill Kellet and Phillip Pearce. Admission is free and all are welcome.
