A Police and Community Together (Pact) meeting will be held at the Centrefield Pavilion, Sunderland Road, Horden, from 2pm to 3pm on Tuesday (May 28). A member of the neighbourhood policing team will be in attendance.
EXERCISE SESSIONS: Exercise sessions for people over the age of 50 are being held at the Chester-le-Street Community Centre in Newcastle Road, Chester-le-Street, from 1pm to 2pm on Thursdays. Each session is £3. For further information contact the centre on 0191-388-4752.
PERMISSION GRANTED: Planning permission has been granted for the construction of two dwellings at 12 Greenhills Estate in Wingate. Approval was granted by planning officers at Durham County Council exercising delegated authority.
