PRIMARY schoolchildren will open an affordable housing development tomorrow.
Pupils from the reception class at Alderman Leach Primary School will plant a tree to mark the opening of the Railway Housing Association's new development at West Park.
The association's chief executive Anne Rowlands and Darlington MP Jenny Chapman will be among those joining them.
All 13 family homes in the Collingsway area of the West Park housing development are occupied. The £2.16m development included £819,000 from the Homes and Communities Agency.
