TWELVE artists will display their work in an exhibition this weekend.

The Clervaux Trust, based at the Clow Beck Eco Centre, in Jolby Lane, Croft, will hold an exhibition of arts and crafts, which will be for sale.

Visitors will also be able to see demonstrations of craft techniques.

A spokesman said: "The exhibition is being held to raise awareness and funds for Clervaux Trust, which works with local young people using a practical skills curriculum to re-engage them into education.

"The exhibition reflects the wide diversity of skills and close relationship to the land which is at the heart of Clervaux's ethos."

A preview evening will take place place at 7.30pm tonight, attended by the artists. Tickets are £10.

Those exhibiting are: Cathy Maddett, who creates ceramic animals, Frances Connelly (pastels), Simon Sitter (stained glass), Debbie Walker (paintings), Petra Lloyd (ceramics), Andy Gilpin (oil painting), Bill Chaytor (silversmith), Adrian Wood (blacksmith), Chris Helliwell (green woodwork), Claude Frere Smith (pottery), Janine Christley (mosaic) and Lone Helliwell (textiles).

The exhibition will be staged from 10am to 4pm, on Saturday and Sunday. Entry is free.

People can also take part in felting and pottery sessions for £2.
