A competition offering people the chance to win a £1,250 ceremony at a Darlington marriage venue has seen a flood of entries.
The town's registration service and ceremony room will be moving to Bull Wynd, in December.
The ceremony room has yet to be given a name.
Whoever comes up with the best suggestion will receive a £1,250 package for a ceremony for themselves, a relative or close friend.
Wedding Day Fashions, based in Parkgate, Darlington, will also donate a £500 voucher.
To enter, write your name and suggestion for what the hall should be called, along with the name of the nominee, with an address and telephone number, and send it to Name The Ceremony Hall Competition, Town Hall, Darlington, DL1 5QT.
The closing date is Friday, June 30.
The winner will be notified during the week beginning July 3.
