ROOKIE comedian and The Northern Echo journalist Owen Amos will take to the stage alongside three seasoned performers this weekend.
Mr Amos, 23, will make his debut at the Hilary Bites Comedy Club, at Inside Out, Beaumont Street, Darlington, tomorrow.
Also taking part in the monthly show will be Dave Twentyman, John Warburton and Stephen Grant.
Mr Twentyman is a new star on the North-West comedy circuit. As well as a stand-up comedian Mr Warburton is a comedy writer. And Mr Grant has his own compere slot at a club in his hometown of Brighton.
Doors open for the event at 7pm. The first act is on at 8pm. Tickets are £5 in advance, on 01325-362364, of £7 on the door.
