THE Darlington Local Plan 2016-36 consultation, which lasts six weeks, is now open. Residents have until Thursday, August 2 to have their say on Darlington Borough Council’s plan. Opera show

TEESSIDE based opera group, Opera Nova, will be bringing Mozart’s witty and comic opera, Cosi Fan Tutte to St Cuthbert’s Parish Hall on Saturday, June 30 at 7.30pm. The audience will be immersed in the performance as they will be seated at tables in the tavern. People may also bring their own refreshments – wine or canapes. Crime authors

AS part of the Crossing the Tees Book Festival, Darlington Libraries will be welcoming crime-writing partners Edward Marston and Judith Cutler for a special author event tomorrow between 4pm-5.30pm in the Art Gallery at Crown Street. Tickets are £5, including a glass of wine.

Fitness group

A GROUP from Zumba Gold, which is aimed at over 50s, hold weekly classes most Mondays at 11am at St Thomas Aquinas church hall and Wednesdays at 11.30am at the Community Centre, Bowen Road.
