Health event

A MENTAL health and learning disability services showcase will take place at the Dolphin Centre on Wednesday, June 27 between 11am and 12.30pm. The information event will give people the chance to talk to staff from County Durham and Darlington NHS mental health services. Other local providers and charities including Darlington Mind, The Alzheimer’s society and the Citizens Advice Bureau will be at the event to offer advice on the support they provide. Summer fair

THE summer fair at Cleasby Village Hall will this year take place on Friday, June 29 between 7pm and 9pm. There will be a climbing wall, fairground organ, classic vehicles, a bouncy castle, pipes and drums, Black Sheep Morris Dancers, Harlequin Morris Dancers, ball in the bucket, hook the duck, bang the bell and a raffle. Refreshments will include tea, coffee, wine, cake, savoury, hot dogs and onions. There will be free fruit drinks from the kitchen for children. Quiet walk

DARLINGTON Ramblers will be walking four miles along quiet roads and tracks, setting off from the Fox and Hounds in Neasham. There will be a short hill at the start.
