Library closure
DARLINGTON’S Crown Street Junior Library will be closed for essential building maintenance from June 25 until July 13. During this time there will be no Bookstart Rhymetime sessions or Story Club and Junior books will be available for an extended loan period of five weeks.
Walking club
DARLINGTON CHA & HF Walking Club are walking eight miles around Bainbridge including Raydale and Semerwater on Saturday, June 16. Anyone interested is asked to meet outside ED Walker Homes on Coniscliffe Road at 9.45am. Call 01325-356029.
Hurworth tour
A WALK taking in Hurworth Moor is held on Sunday, June 24 from 3.30pm. The walk begins at the Christmas tree on Hurworth Village Green and continues up to Neasham Road and around Hurworth Moor before finishing in the Fox and Hounds at Neasham, and is between four and five miles long.
