THE story of Easter will be re-enacted as a Darlington church hosts its annual fun day this weekend.
An interactive performance will see part of the Elim Church transformed as the story of Jesus’ resurrection is brought to life on Saturday, April 1.
The church’s fifth fun day will also see the Easter bunny join in with festivities as youngsters vie for the top prize in a traditional Easter bonnet competition.
A treasure hunt, face painting and themed arts and crafts sessions can also be enjoyed at the free event.
Games and competitions will also run throughout the fun day, which will be staged at the church, on Bowman Street, between 1pm and 4pm.
