AN INSEPARABLE doggy duo left without a home over Christmas are hoping to find a new owner for the New Year.

Bob and Harry, both ten-year-old Chihuahuas, were taken in by canine carers at Dogs Trust Darlington’s Sadberge site after their owner passed away in December.

Staff at the centre hope the pair can be rehomed together after spending years together under one roof.

Sue Embleton, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Darlington, said: “We hope Bob and Harry don’t spend too long waiting for their special someone, as they are such super dogs with so much love to give.

“They are such an adorable pair of cuties, all they want is someone who will care for them and a comfy bed to snuggle in to.

“Bob can be shy at first but once he gets to know you will be your best friend for life and Harry is much more independent.

“The pair can be left alone for a few hours or more and can live in a home with older teenagers.

“We also think it would be beneficial for both dogs to spend time individually with their new owner at first, so they can develop a close bond.”
