WORKERS are being encouraged to get on their bikes and show their support for the Tees Valley Cycle Challenge.

Saff from Capita, on Lingfield Point, Darlington, took their meeting on the road with a quick al fresco meeting that took multi-tasking to a whole new level thanks to the eight-seater conference bike.

They were among the estate’s customers supporting the Love to Ride challenge, which aims to get more people cycling to work and for leisure.

The eight-seater conference bike was just one of a number of fun initiatives available to the 3,000 people based at the site as part of the challenge to get people fit and healthy.

Claire Leman, challenge manager of Love to Ride Tees Valley, said: “We have a number of bikes to give away as part of the challenge which rolls out across the Tees Valley – and we really hope the folks from Lingfield Point will take part.

“All they have to do for a chance to win is register on the website and use our app to record their cycle rides.”
