Emergency services at scene of Darlington crash
THE emergency services were called to a head-on crash in Croft Road, Darlington, this morning.
Police and two fire appliances from the town attended the scene following the accident which was reported at 8.37am.
The accident involved an Alfa Romeo and Suzuki Swift, which were both badly damaged.
Neither of the female drivers were believed to have been seriously injured, although one was treated at the scene after complaining of chest pains.
Darlington Fire Station tweeted following the crash: "Reduce your speed the roads are wet and slippery this morning."
