THE A66 near Darlington has reopened after 300 litres of diesel was cleared up following a spillage.
The road was closed westbound near the A67 junction during the night following the incident.
Highways England said its contractors had cleaned up the spillage at around 4am and the road had reopened.
Clear up of the diesel spill is complete, #A66 W/B is fully open again nr #Darlington. Traffic flowing freely, have a safe journey!
