WHETHER you pray in a gurdwara, church or temple, there was a place for every religion at a jovial Interfaith event in Darlington at the weekend.
Baha’i, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, Hindu and Sikhism came together in a festivity of delicious food and music at the CVS Building in Church Row.
Healthwatch Darlington put on the multi-cultural event where children and young people - aged between 11 and 25 - of diverse faiths across Darlington celebrated their cultural differences.
The event - marking Interfaith week - ran from noon until 3pm on Saturday (November 21).
Jodie Craggs, information and signposting officer for Healthwatch, said: "We put it together to show young people in our area what faiths there are. One of our priorities is to improve engagement with young people and give them a voice."
Andrea Goldie, communications and engagement officer for Healthwatch, added: "Healthwatch Darlington are bringing children and young people together during Interfaith week to celebrate the diverse cultures we have in Darlington.
"We want to help people learn and interact with different faiths and cultures.
"We've included the Ingenious Darlington brand as we truly believe Darlington is welcoming and diverse in many ways and we celebrate the ingenuity of our inclusive population."
