KEEN readers will get the chance to meet authors Lauren Owen and Robert Williams at Cockerton Library on March 17.
Lauren Owen, who has recently written her first book, The Quick, and Robert Williams, author of books including Into the Trees and How the Trouble Started, will talk about their writing and answer questions about their work.
The visit is part of the annual Read Regional campaign run by New Writing North that works with libraries and publishers to give readers the chance to meet authors in their local libraries.
The campaign is now in its seventh year, and Marion Ogle, Darlington Borough Council’s event manager said: “We are proud to welcome authors Lauren Owen and Robert Williams to meet our keen readers.
“It’s a great opportunity for residents to meet the authors and we look forward to a lively and varied discussion.”
The event starts at 6.30pm and to book a place contact the library on 01325 462034. Places are free.
