APPEAL: Police are appealing for witnesses after Thomas the Baker, in Darlington, is burgled
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a burglary at a Darlington bakery.
Thomas the Baker, on High Row, was broken into in the early hours of this morning (Monday, March 9) and property stolen from inside.
Police say the suspects forced the rear door open, which backs on to Abbott’s Yard car park, off Skinnergate, and used a motor vehicle to get to and from the crime scene.
Detective Constable John Tyers urged any taxi drivers who may have seen anything suspicious to come forward.
He also appealed to any properties in the area who have private CCTV to get in touch via 101 or call 01325-742767.
