A CAR driver was arrested after a woman was left “dazed and confused” following a collision with a car in Darlington on Wednesday morning.
The 28-year-old pedestrian was injured on Crown Street after colliding with a silver Vauxhall Astra estate car at around 9am.
The driver of the car, a man aged 39 from Darlington, was arrested later on suspicion of failing to stop following an accident.
Inspector Kevan McCarthy said the pedestrian had been checked over at the scene by ambulance staff.
She suffered minor injuries and was discharged from hospital this afternoon.
