A LARGE amount of tools were stolen from the boot of a car parked in Darlington and police are urging residents to be vigilant.
The car was parked on Barnes Road overnight on January 31 when it was broken into and more than 25 individual tools stolen.
These include electrical screwdriver sets, chisels, hammers, pliers and drills among many other items.
Police are asking anyone who saw anybody acting suspicious in Barnes Street that night to contact them, or if you see similar items offered for sale and are suspicious that they might be stolen.
The full list of tools can be found on the Darlington Neighbourhood Policing Team’s facebook page and officers can be contacted on 101.
