AN international photographer gave an illustrated presentation to members of Darlington Probus Club on Monday (November 10).
Ray McMillan gave a display of digital and 3D photography.
At an earlier meeting, Chris Robinson gave a talk entitled 'The National Courage and the VC'.
The medal had its origination in the Crimean War and was created as the highest award for gallantry that a British serviceman could achieve.
Prince Albert had much to do with the design of the medal and the metal came from a captured Chinese made cannon used by the Russians during the Crimean War at Sebastopal.
Darlington Probus Club meets at Elm Ridge Church Hall Carmel Road South Darlington on the second and fourth each month at 10am.
