LITTLE monsters, witches and ghouls will find plenty to satisfy their curiosity at a North-East railway museum in the run-up to Halloween.

Little Boo, suitable for younger children, takes place at the Head of Steam, Darlington, on Sunday, October 26, from 11am to 3.30pm.

There will be activities for all the family including arts and crafts, a treasure hunt, face painting, balloon modelling and a mini-train ride.

Little ones are encouraged to dress up in their spookiest Halloween costumes.

Prices for Little Boo are £4.95 (adults), £3.75 (concessions) and £3 (children).

Under-fives and Family Annual Pass members go free.

Bigger Boo, which is aimed at older children and grown ups, takes place on from 5pm to 7pm the same day.

Older children and adults are invited to come along and listen to an evening of haunted tales of Darlington.

Tickets for Bigger Boo cost £5, which includes hot chocolate. Tickets must be booked in advance.
