THREE hairdressers from a Darlington salon have made it to the finals of a competition.
Ruth Roddam, manager of Saks in Darlington, her daughter, Chloe, and trainee hairdresser Terri Surtees will travel to London next month for the awards ceremony.
They have been shortlisted in the finals of the Saks photographic competition.
Ruth Roddam has been shortlisted in the hair image award, Chloe in the men's image award and Terri in the junior image award.
Ms Roddam said: "It's really good to get this many finalists from one shop as there are only four finalists in each category.
"Our art director, Andrew Burton, only last month won the British Hairdresser of the Year award.
"I think this is a reflection of the training and investment that we put into our staff and their hard work."
