HAIR salon staff raised more than £1,000 for charity when it celebrated its tenth anniversary last week.
Best friends Fiona Davis and Lisa Ryan, from Darlington, set up their RyanHart salon on Duke Street in 2003.
They celebrated its anniversary by holding a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday, September 27.
The coffee morning raised more than £1,250 for the charity, which is close to the heart of Ms Ryan, who lost her mother to cancer last year.
Ms Davis said: “We are astounded by the level of support we received.
“Darlington is an extremely friendly and vibrant town and I can’t think of anywhere else I would like to have been running a business for ten years.”
