Darlington host a fans forum this evening at Blackwell Meadows, Grange Road, Darlington, when the club's future home will be on the agenda.

It starts at 7.30pm and the bar is open from 7pm. All fans are welcome to attend.

Quakers are at Heritage Park tomorrow evening against second-bottom Ossett Albion (7.45pm).

There will be no marquee facilities as the club has withdrawn the facility with immediate effect, citing there had not been enough interest during recent fixtures.

A club statement read: "The significant reduction in the number of fans using the match day facilities has meant that the existing arrangements are not sustainable."

The match day arrangements will revert to those in place last year regarding concourse catering vans and internal bar facilities.

Martin Jesper, Quakers' chief executive officer, said: "We can only apologise to those fans who wanted more space and refreshment facilities outside to enjoy the match.

"It is not in the interest of the club, or the fans, to continue with any commercial venture which could potentially absorb rather than generate cash. Looking at the number of fans currently using these facilities, the number of fixtures over the next few weeks and the onset of cooler weather, this decision has been made with the full co-operation of Bishop Auckland Football Club."
