AN animal rehoming centre has raised hundreds of pounds with a Halloween themed event.
The annual Dogs Trust Darlington Spooks Night event raised more than £800 for the organisation and attracted crowds of dog lovers and their dogs who took part in hot-dog bobbing and a spooky ghost walk.
Ledean Lawson, Dogs Trust Darlington supporter relations officer, said: “Our Spook Night saw many former canine residents coming back to haunt us with their new owners. There was a lovely atmosphere with all involved in the spooky fun.”
Anyone interested in rehoming a rescue dog can contact the rehoming centre on 01325-333114 or visit at Hill House Farm, in Sadberge.
