A 16-YEAR-OLD has been robbed of his motorbike after being approached by two teenagers and assaulted.

The robbery happened at around 7pm, Friday, December 30, on Light Pipehall Street, Stockton.

Cleveland Police said: "The victim was approached by two males who engaged him in conversation before one of the males punched the victim whilst the other dragged his bike from him.

"Both then rode off towards Mill Lane and out of sight.

"The two suspects are described as around 18 years old, both wearing tracksuits and one wearing a blue helmet.

"The stolen Rieju MRT 50cc motorbike was later sighted in the Tilery area of Stockton on Thursday, January 5."
