POLICE investigating an assault outside a Bishop Auckland pub during New Year's Eve celebrations are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Two woman and one man were leaving No 1 Bar, in Bishop Auckland Market Place, between 2am and 3.30am on New Year's Day when they were assaulted, resulting in two requiring hospital treatment.
